Its getting worse – absolutely shocking!!! can’t hold on to possession, giving away the ball cheaply when we have it, not making tackles, blocks etc and not playing as a team at all – not at all – POOR!!!

The big surprise is that Firmino, LFC’s 2nd highest scorer in Europe, is on the bench. The second surprise is that Matip starts in place of Gomez who is also on the bench. Lallana comes in for Fabinho too who didn’t have a great game on Saturday. Sturridge comes in for Firmino too.

I agree – I felt disappointed and more so when more was made of the Mane disallowed goal and even the penalty claim when VVD was clattered into late by the GK – of these two had been given (as discussed on Sky Sports Ref watch), we would have won 3-1. Milner smashes the ball in after a cross from Mane is punched out by the GK. LFC should have been 1-0 up after Mane wrongly had a goal chalked off for offside – although its been far from ‘good’ by LFC who haven’t matched Arsenal overall so far…

Another 3pts to move top (at least until Citeh play at spurs on Monday).
