Incidentally, Spurs are 3-1 down now at home to Leicester so it’s looking very much like LFC will finish 3rd – still over 30mins to go in both matches of course…
Also looks like Salah will get the Golden Boot – although not the European version as he needs at least 2/3 more and hope Messi doesn’t get anymore in his last 2 matches…-
Spurs are now 4-3 up 🙁 … May end safe in 4th as Chelski are 2-0 down – come on Leicester…

At the moment, with the scores as they are, Liverpool are third as Spurs are losing at home – even if they get a draw, we take third with a win!
I have lost count of the amount of Penalties we could have had too – at least 3 (handball, foul on Salah and a very high foot on Solanke) but at Half-time things are going well…

Wasting chances at the moment – but at least we are creating them – snatching at shots, being a bit selfish when its better to pass and vice versa but apart from that, we are really controlling the match overall but Brighton have had possession and corners so the potential is there to get something when the game should be over now…

After having a very good claim for a penalty and Mane being very selfish, its that man Salah who opens up the scoring and breaks a EPL record for a 38 game season with his 32nd….
Newcastle are leading at CFC too…

Interesting team selection. Both Clyne and TAA are starting with Hendo dropping to the bench. I did think Clyne may have started as TAA has played a lot of football and still young but didn’t expect this change. Wonder if we will go with a back 3 with Clyne, VVD and Lovren.
