Watched Match of the Day. It was ground hog day again, same old same old. Flaky defence, failing to beat the so called lesser teams, lots of possession and pressing but no clinical finish. Little progress in two years in these aspects which makes the Reds very frustrating to watch! We don’t have an out and out goal scorer and for some reason Klopp doesn’t want one. Look what Aguero does to a lesser team. What Lukaku does, what Kane does. We just don’t have one and it often shows. As for defence, whet a joke selling Leiva and playing the likes of Gomez at centre back. With Lovren off to the states to fix his back our failure to get Van Dyk or another quality centre half will cost us badly! The only silver lining is Salah justifying his price tag with five goals. What Klopp is playing with the goalkeeper position god only knows! It isn’t helping our defence. In my opinion he needs to select Mingolet every game and only bench him if he has a really bad game. That hasn’t been the case so far so don’t know why he is chopping and changing goalkeeper.
