FSG have this youth policy. Name one young player that has broken through in the last 5 years and held down a first team place, an automatic starter, with a big impact? TTA? Hardly as yet. Sterling maybe. Have they developed a Marcus Rashford – no! The policy ain’t working. There is no Fowler, Gerrard, McManaman, Owen, and Carragher coming through as a result of this focus on youth. Is there anything they are getting right? I suppose securing CL football this year but I am not very confident of progessing in that competition

Only him in more than 5 years and he is stil not playing every game. So much for our focus on youth policy! It’s achieving very little!
