A fairly predictable line-up with all the big names missing from the mid-week cup match returning. With Matip out, Lovren keeps his place. Lallana comes into Midfield, the big surprise although not a surprise Fabinho is ‘rested’ with 1 yellow card away from missing Man City match but he does make the bench. Personally, I think Ox deserved to start with Hendo/Gini dropping back to cover Fabinho’s position. Ox (on the bench) can help that transition to attack and goals from outside the box too.
No real surprises on the bench either with Milner, Keita (who also could of been selected ahead of Lallana), Gomez and Origi also sit on the bench – as they seem to be on a regular basis…

Great to see Alisson and Matip back, which will undoubtedly strengthen our defence but Salah is a big loss upfront. Hopefully, Origi can add to his Barcelona exploits! Come on you Reds!
