A late mistake by Adrian almost cost us the win but for a miss by Ings who perhaps should of given the Saints an equaliser but Liverpool hang on for all 3 pts
Adrian did make a few saves but the howler nearly cost us. 3pts though was most important but Goal difference could be important. Mane and Firmino’s great goals proved enough…

What a howler by Adrian despite his heroics in midweek! We are really going to miss Allison. Relieved to get 3 points on the road after our exertions in Istanbul. It was well and truly squeaky bum time at the end there!
Fortunately, Ings missed a sitter late on but Goal Difference may be important if we can keep up the challenge like we did last year. City have started well and the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs have invested in bringing quality to their sides.
