1-0 Salah (15mins)
After missing an open goal after Can\’s long range shot, Salah at the back post is picked out by Coutinho with a great cross that he heads past the keeper

Stevie G strongly backing Klopp on TV this evening
"Take the errors out…they'd be in the top four, started the UCL well and be in the League Cup!"
But Gerrard is firmly behind Klopp… 👊 pic.twitter.com/7qILp6pGEs

Lovren, Matip, and Can Return
Liverpool Team: Mignolet, Gomez, Lovren, Matip, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Salah, Firmino.Subs: Karius, Milner, Sturridge, Solanke, Klavan, O […]

No surprise in this selection at all. I had doubts over the CB pairing due to ‘injury’ but good to see both make it. Say what you want about Lovren but statistically our strongest two. I wondered if TTA may have started as I think he is ‘better’ than Gomez in that position – at least in an attacking and pace.
With Mane on suspension for his third and final match, the front 3 are the expected 3, Midfield isn’t a surprise either…

This team should be strong enough to perform significantly better than we did in the League Cup on Tuesday night. The centre back pairing, hopefully, will give us more solidity at the back, and the attacking three should be a handful for the Leicester defence. A little surprised TTA didn’t get the nod ahead of Gomez.

I’m sick of selective LFC fans who are losing patience with Klopp?, its a real shame. On our day playing well LFC are a terrifying team to face.
Sadio Mane is crucial more than Coutinho in a way. Leicester game on Saturday is absolutely vital now, we have Can & Matip + Lovren are doubts!!. I TRUST Jürgen Klopp 1000%. -

Listening to talkSPORT the other day with Arsenal fan and other fans saying that if Sadio Mane has got red card they believe LFC would have drawn or won and that other fans view points!!. We (LFC) are creating lots of chances on target but for some reason just not scoring. We (LFC) say try fringe players Klopp does that in cup then what? We…[Read more]

FSG have this youth policy. Name one young player that has broken through in the last 5 years and held down a first team place, an automatic starter, with a big impact? TTA? Hardly as yet. Sterling maybe. Have they developed a Marcus Rashford – no! The policy ain’t working. There is no Fowler, Gerrard, McManaman, Owen, and Carragher coming t…[Read more]

I can’t stomach watching any Carabao Cup tonight, we’ve got Leicester “again” Saturday 5:30pm ffs.
Jürgen Klopp will sort this out with Mane ban served etc… things will come back together. ? -

Klopp ain’t happy at all. TheOx had a disaster of a debut last night. Since Mane red card and Firmino missed penalty LFC are lost confidence completely.

It’s fine margins, Mane sending off and Firmino missed pen have been turning points. It will turn round. ?⚽️😉

The problem is we don’t have a balanced squad, the right mix of types of players, and characters. Too much of the same, nippy, skilful, but lightweight midfielders without an eye for goal. We should have signed Diego Costa just to give us something radically different. The transfer window was diabolical and Klopp and FSG should be hung out to…[Read more]
