A late mistake by Adrian almost cost us the win but for a miss by Ings who perhaps should of given the Saints an equaliser but Liverpool hang on for all 3 pts
Adrian did make a few saves but the howler nearly cost us. 3pts though was most important but Goal difference could be important. Mane and Firmino’s great goals proved enough…

A Liverpool press after a Saints throw-in ends up with Firmino firing in to double their lead. LFC perhaps should have more goals but if we get all 3pts after the big night in Istanbul, its all that matters right now….

Is that man again with a great goal – his third in 4days for Liverpool. Milner plays the ball to Mane who gets it out of his feet and curls it into the goal to put Liverpool 1-0 up at half-time.

Adrian fit to start after a bizarre injury by a fan on Wednesday. Gomez on the bench as TAA comes back into the starting line-up – 1 assist away for a record 6 in 6 matches. Milner, Gini and Ox start in Midfield with the familiar front 3 starting too.
