Everton are demolishing Utd 4-0, who crashed out of the CL, sat currently in 6th and in danger of missing out on CL next season too. As much as I hate Utd, I will be cheering for them in their next game. Another big day for Liverpool. An away trip to Cardiff who are battling for their Premiership lives as City overcame 1 of the big hurdles left in their Campaign. And in the ‘other’ match, VAR seems to have given Spurs the win despite losing 4-3 on the night. VAR gave Spurs their 3rd and then VAR ruled a City goal out for offside in the build-up denying Sterling his hat-trick…

In the other match, VAR has been used to give Spurs another away goal after being down 4-2 in the tie. That away goal now puts Spurs in the driving seat.
As I said though, the next match is more important to me but Spurs are certainly pushing City in this so hopefully can get something the next match…

That should have been 3 as Hendo finds Mane who rounds the keeper and, with time, he puts the ball wide. The Keeper had forced him wide and knocked him off his stride so was a bit off balance but that still should have been 3…

Half time and Liverpool have an away goal (thanks to VAR overturning an incorrectly raised ‘offside’ flag) in their favour to add to the 2 they scored at home. This leaves Porto needing to score 4 in the 2nd half.

Its been all Porto up until that goal. Alisson has been by far the busiest keeper as well as the fact that Porto have been a bit wasteful in actually hitting the target and/or really testing Alisson. Mostly he has been in the right place to make an ‘easy’ save or watch the ball miss the target.
