4-0 – Top of league (on GD LOL).
Liverpool dominated from start to finish and could have scored more. Kieta looked like he had been at Liverpool for years. Alisson had very little to do, but also had a bit of luck too. Half Time – 2-0
In fairness, its no less than LFC deserved as they had been quite dominant in possession without really creating too many chances. A couple of saves – 1 point blank from Salah and 1 a free kick from TAA but most of the attacks broke down through a sloppy pass, offside or defending. Mane opens up his account right on HT. Another cross from Robertson looked to be too deep and drifting out of play but a great stretch by Milner pulls it back into the box for Mane to tap in after the WH defenders all stopped thinking the ball was going out.

Normal service resumes and its no surprise that Salah opens up his account and LFC\’s for the season. Kieta, who has slotted in well, plays a lovely weighted pass to Robertson who slides it across the box for Salah to tap in – 1-0

It looks like we have Xherdan Shaqiri in the bag. He is in for a medical this morning. A really good signing for us; he should get us a few goals from midfield, and coming on as a sub he could get us out of jail on a few occasions when we are struggling to get a breakthrough. He has always had that bit of magic in him.

Watched the Chester friendly and thought Sturridge looked good but will he be with us when the transfer window closes? Keita slotted in better than Fabinho. The first half was poor and an animated Klopp showed he was not happy at the break
